Black Belt Club
Dark Dragon Kenpo ™
announces the existence of the Black Belt Club. For Dark
Dragon Kenpo™
members, this is not just the wearing of a special belt or
other attire. This special belt given after testing, signifies the wearer as a
martial artist who desires to learn more and a willingness to put out the effort
to learn and maintain techniques not in the regular Dark Dragon Kenpo™
curriculum.
The aspiring student will pick from the many Freebie
Techniques a total of 12 techniques that they will test on, separately from any
other test. They will then have to maintain the knowledge and ability to
demonstrate any or all of those 12 techniques during any other test.
This accomplishment will be rewarded by a black belt
with a white stripe running through the middle. The belt will be worn
thereafter with the appropriate colored stripe added after each regular belt
test, up to Black Belt.
